User-testing made easy for local government websites
Published on 03 September 2019
A quick tip for user-testing
One of the best ways to connect with your community and make sure your local government website puts users first, is user-testing. That may sound like an intimidating, drawn out process, but it’s not.
Take your team to a local coffee shop for the day. Offer to buy your residents a cup of coffee in return for feedback on your website. Watch how they access information and ask them questions about how to make your site’s user experience better. After just one day, you’ll know if your website is working for the people who need it the most, your residents.
